"I never intended to publish a book."
During my first backpacking trip, I carried a small journal and recorded what I saw.
I showed it to a friend, who suggested I make a book. So I did, with an exacto knife, glue, and a printer.
This was the genesis of Tamio Nikki.
The handmade copies I made sold surprisingly well at a local shop, so I decided to have more copies printed in Shanghai.
Volume 1 - India
The first in the series chronicles my first backpacking experience in chaotic India.
Volume 2 - Asia
Sneaking into Tibet, I made it to Mount Kailash and ancient kingdom of Guge.
